David DastmalchianĀ (/dÉstĖmÉĖltŹÉn/Ā dÉst-MAHL-chÉn;Ā born July 21, 1975) is an American actor, writer, and producer. He has had supporting roles in a number ofĀ superhero franchises: he portrayed Thomas Schiff inĀ The Dark KnightĀ (2008),Ā KurtĀ and Veb in theĀ Ant-ManĀ franchise,Ā Abra KadabraĀ inĀ the CW'sĀ The Flash, andĀ Polka-Dot ManĀ inĀ The Suicide SquadĀ (2021).
Dastmalchian has appeared in three films directed byĀ Denis Villeneuve:Ā PrisonersĀ (2013),Ā Blade Runner 2049Ā (2017), andĀ DuneĀ (2021). Although he is best known for his work as aĀ character actor, Dastmalchian had leading roles in the 2014 semi-autobiographical filmĀ Animals, which he wrote, and the 2023 horror filmĀ Late Night with the Devil, which he produced. He is also set to portrayĀ Mr. 3 in theĀ Netflix seriesĀ One Piece. He has aĀ guest appearanceĀ on the 2025 TV SeriesĀ Dexter: Resurrection.
