Mimpi sadar (Inggris: Lucid dream) adalah sebuah mimpi ketika seseorang sadar bahwa ia sedang bermimpi. Istilah ini dicetuskan oleh psikiater dan penulis berkebangsaan Belanda, Frederik (Willem) van Eeden (1860–1932).^[1] Ketika mimpi sadar, si pemimpi mampu berpartisipasi secara aktif dan mengubah pengalaman imajinasi dalam dunia mimpinya.^[2] Mimpi sadar dapat terlihat nyata dan jelas.^[3]

Sebuah mimpi sadar dapat muncul melalui dua cara. Mimpi sadar akibat mimpi (dream-initiated lucid dream; DILD) berawal sebagai mimpi biasa, dan si pemimpi langsung menyimpulkan bahwa ia sedang bermimpi, sementara mimpi sadar akibat terjaga (wake-initiated lucid dream; WILD) terjadi ketika si pemimpi pindah dari keadaan terjaga biasa ke keadaan bermimpi tanpa mengalami ketidaksadaran.

Mimpi sadar telah diteliti secara ilmiah dan keberadaannya sudah diakui.^[4][5]
