William Maher (/mษหr/; lahir 20 Januari 1956)[2] adalah seorang komedian Amerika, komentator politik, dan pembawa acara televisi. Dia dikenal karena HBO acara bincang-bincang politik Real Time with Bill Maher (2003โsekarang) dan sejenisnya late-night acara yang disebut Politically Incorrect (1993โ2002), awalnya pada Comedy Central dan nanti ABC.
Maher dikenal karena sindiran politiknya[3] dan komentar sosiopolitik. Dia menargetkan banyak topik termasuk agama, kebenaran politik, dan media massa.[4] Pandangan kritisnya tentang agama menjadi dasar pembuatan film dokumenter 2008 Religulous.
