Andrew Dickson White (7 November 1832 – 4 November 1918) adalah sejarawan dan pengajar Amerika Serikat. Ia merupakan salah satu pendiri Universitas Cornell dan menjabat sebagai presiden pertama di universitas tersebut selama hampir dua dasawarsa. Ia dikenal karena memperluas lingkup kurikulum perguruan tinggi.^[3] Sebagai politikus, ia menjabat sebagai senator negara bagian di New York. Ia kemudian diangkat sebagai diplomat Amerika Serikat untuk Jerman dan Rusia.
