Storrs Lovejoy Olson[1] (3 April 1944 – 20 Januari 2021)[1][2] adalah seorang ahli biologi dan ornitologi Amerika dari Institusi Smithsonian. Ia adalah salah satu paleontolog terkenal di dunia.[3] Ia mendapatkan gelar BSc dalam bidang biologi pada 1965 dan gelar DSc dalam bidang paleornitologi pada 1969, di fakultas biologi Universitas Johns Hopkins.
Olson adalah penerima 1994 dari Penghargaan Penelitian Loye dan Alden Miller.[4] Ia awalnya adalah kurator burung di Museum Sejarah Alam Nasional Amerika Serikat; hingga 2009[update], ia memegang jabatan emeritus di institusi tersebut.[5]
Beberapa spesies burung pra-sejarah dinmai dari nama Storrs Olson, yakni Nycticorax olsoni,[6] Himantopus olsoni,[7] Puffinus olsoni[8] Primobucco olsoni,[9] Gallirallus storrsolsoni,[10] dan Quercypodargus olsoni.[11]
