Michel Legrand (24 Februari 1932 – 26 Januari 2019) adalah seorang komposer, pengaransemen, konduktor musik dan pianis jazz asal Prancis. Legrand adalah seorang komposer yang produktif, ia menulis musik untuk lebih dari 200 film dan televisi, dan banyak lagu yang dibuatnya berkesan.^[1] Ia terkenal karena musik film jazz-nya yang sering menghantui. Musik-musik karyanya hadir dalam film arahan sutradara Gelombang Baru Prancis, Jacques Demy, seperti di film The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964) dan The Young Girls of Rochefort (1967), membuat Legrand mendapatkan nominasi Academy Award pertamanya. Legrand memenangkan Oscar pertamanya untuk lagu "The Windmills of Your Mind" dari film The Thomas Crown Affair (1968).^[2]

Legrand meninggal dunia di Paris pada tanggal 26 Januari 2019 pada usia 86.^[3] Ia tetap aktif sampai kematiannya dan konsernya dijadwalkan berlangsung di musim semi.^[4]
