suntingCodd berasal dari Wexford, Irlandia.[1] Ketika berusia 15 tahun, ia mengalami cedera serius pada kakinya saat bermain sepak bola.[2] Pada usia 23 tahun, Codd memilih untuk mengamputasi kaki kanannya di bawah lutut karena komplikasi dari cedera kaki sebelumnya.[3] Ia mengamputasi kaki kirinya, juga di bawah lutut, pada tahun 2025.[4]
