suntingDawson lahir di Canberra, Wilayah Ibu Kota Australia, dan bersekolah di Canberra Girls' Grammar School,[2] Radford College, dan Screenwise Film & TV School. Ia juga belajar teater dan opera di Universitas Wollongong.[3]
