The Nut Job adalah film Korea Selatan-Kanada-Amerika Serikat produksi tahun 2014 bergenre drama komedi yang disutradarai oleh Peter Lepeniotis (yang juga menuliskan skenario bersama Lorne Cameron). 17 Januari 2011 diumumkan bahwa Lorne Cameron akan menuliskan skenario film bersama Peter Lepeniotis.[12] 15 November 2012 dikabarkan bahwa Katherine Heigl, Will Arnett dan Brendan Fraser bergabung dalam film ini.[13] 1 Maret 2013, menyusul bergabung, Liam Neeson.[14] PSY tampil sebagai Cameo sebagai dirinya dalam penutupan film dan juga menampilkan lagunya, Gangnam Style.[3][15]

Film ini dirilis di Amerika Serikat pada 17 Januari 2014, didistribusikan oleh Open Road Films.[16] Trailer film ini kali pertama diluncurkan pada 27 September 2013.[17] Distribusi internasional ditangani oleh The Weinstein Company.[18][19]
