Daftar ini adalah daftar tidak lengkap para mikolog, atau ilmuwan yang memiliki spesialisasi dalam mikologi, beserta singkatan nama penulis mereka. Karena kajian tentang lumut kerak secara tradisional dianggap sebagai cabang mikologi, para likenolog juga termasuk dalam daftar ini.

Erik Acharius (1757–1857) memelopori taksonomi lumut kerak.
Heinrich Anton de Bary (1831–1888) memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap pemahaman patologi tumbuhan.
Miles Joseph Berkeley (1803–1889), seorang botanis dan rohaniwan Inggris, merupakan salah satu perintis ilmu patologi tumbuhan.
Giacomo Bresadola (1847–1929) adalah salah satu anggota pendiri Société mycologique de France.
