Scolopendridae (dalam dokumen yang lebih tua bernama Scolopendridæ)[1] adalah famili kelabang yang berisi jenis-jenis kelabang berukuran besar.
Hampir semua spesies kelabang dalam famili ini memiliki empat oselus (mata sederhana) pada tiap sisi kepala. Sebagian besarnya hanya memiliki 21 pasang kaki, terkecuali spesies Scolopendropsis bahiensis yang memiliki 21 atau 23 pasang kaki[2] dan Scolopendropsis duplicata yang memiliki 39 atau 43 pasang kaki.[3] Beberapa spesiesnya tidak memiliki mata dan buta seperti Cormocephalus sagmus, Cormocephalus pyropygus, dan Cormocephalus delta.[4][5] Tiga spesieanya yag berasal dari Asia yakni Scolopendra cataracta, Scolopendra paradoxa, dan Scolopendra alcyona diketahui menunjukkan perilaku amfibi.[6][7][8][9][10][11] Dua spesies lainnya yakni Scolopendra hardwickei dan Hemiscolopendra marginata diketahui menunjukkan dimorfisme seksual dalam komposisi bisannya.[12][13]
