Blackpink telah merilis dua album studio, tiga album mini, empat album singel, dan tiga album rekaman langsung.

Blackpink merilis debut album singel mereka Square One pada Agustus 2016,[1] yang termasuk lagu "Boombayah" dan "Whistle". Grup ini melanjutkan kesuksesan mereka dengan merilis Square Two pada November 1, 2016.[2] Album singel ini termasuk lagu "Playing with Fire" dan Stay.

Pada Juni 2017, Blackpink merilis singel kelima mereka, "As If It's Your Last".[3] Pada Agustus di tahun yang sama, mereka membuat debut mereka dalam bahasa Jepang dengan album mini Blackpink. Dalam album mini tersebut, mereka memasukkan lagu-lagu mereka yang ada dalam versi bahasa Jepang.

Pada Juni 2018, grup ini merilis album mini pertama mereka, "Square Up". Pada October 2018, mereka berkolaberasi dengan penyanyi Inggris, Dua Lipa untuk lagu "Kiss and Make Up", membuat mereka sukses secara komersial di seluruh dunia.[4] Pada Desember 2018, mereka merilis album studio bahasa Jepang mereka yang pertama, Blackpink in Your Area, yang terdapat empat trek versi Jepang dari "Square Up" dan juga termasuk lagu-lagu yang lainnya yang sebelumnya dinyanyikan dalam bahasa Jepang.

Album mini kedua Blackpink Kill This Love dirilis secara digital pada April 5, 2019. Versi fisik dari albumnya dirilis pada April 23, 2019. Album mini tersebut telah menerima komentar positif dan telah menjadi sukses secara komersial.

Pada Maret 2020, Blackpink merilis Sour Candy bersama penyanyi Amerika Serikat, Lady Gaga yang terdapat pada album Gaga, Chromatica. Pada Juni 2020, mereka merilis "How You Like That" sebagai singel pra-rilis dari album studio bahasa Korea pertama mereka The Album. Mereka lalu merilis singel yang berjudul, "Ice Cream", pada Agustus 28, menampilkan penyanyi America Serikat, Selena Gomez, yang berfungsi sebagai singel pra-rilis kedua mereka untuk album studio mereka yang nantinya dirilis pada Oktober 2, 2020 dengan singel utama "Lovesick Girls".
