Akuisisi oleh Arab Saudi
suntingEA mengumumkan pada tanggal 29 September 2025, bahwa mereka telah mencapai kesepakatan senilai $55 miliar atau sekitar (Rp 914 Triliun) oleh investor Arab Saudi Public Investment Fund, dua firma investasi global Amerika Serikat Silver Lake dan Jared Kushner (Affinity Partners).[2] Kesepakatan ini masih menunggu persetujuan regulator dan pemegang saham, tetapi diperkirakan akan selesai pada Juni 2026.[3] Jika terlaksana, ini akan menjadi pembelian dengan leverage terbesar hingga saat ini, melampaui pembelian TXU Energy senilai $32 miliar pada tahun 2007.[4]
